    I have one question.

Since each set of triplets has different hair colors (not too uncommon with twins, but very uncommon with triplets), why is Fred having trouble telling them apart?

The point is he’s joking about being unable to tell them apart because their hair (their only visible distinctive feature) is covered. Of course, it’s not actually fully covered since I want the reader to be able to tell them apart.

By the way, I realize I’m kind of cheating with the different hair colors, but I think it’s justified for the purpose of a little variety.

I said it was uncommon. I didn’t say it was unknown. In fact, I know a set of triplets who show just how different triplets can get.

Their mom is filipino and their dad is black-american (both parents have ink-black hair). the triplets are one boy, one oriental girl (with FLAMING red hair) and a black girl (with golden blonde hair).

Looking at their families, the mother’s family has a smattering of blondes and the dad’s, redheads

Oh sure, I get that you didn’t say it was impossible. I’m just questioning how likely it is for one set of parents to produce offspring that are blonde, brown haired, red haired and black haired. Not that it’s all that important, I’m not necessarily aiming for realism here.

It is a comic dude… you don’t go to disney “YO Disney… mice don’t talk”
Or to hayao miyazaki “Japanese folklore is not real!!!!!!!”
I am GLAD their hairs are different colour for my benefit to be honest with you.

          You are nit picking dude.

HEY MATT BART SHOULD BE LIKE TWENTY ODD YEARS OLD.

          Too much realism would suck

Yeah, some liberties need to be taken… I don’t think anyone is really complaining here though, so it’s all good. 🙂

Uncle Fred may be in trouble when the girls discover hair coloring.

By then, I hope he’s familiar with them enough to know them with the coloring

one set of my nephews are identical twins.

they often get asked what it’s like to be a twin. They finally came up with a perfect answer…

“Being a twin is walking into a full-length mirror because I thought it was my brother”

There was a set of twins in my high school class. Interestingly enough, the Cheech and Chong movies were popular at the time, so in addition to the “do you trade places” question, they were often asked, “If one of you gets hit, does the other feel it?”
To which they would challenge you to slap the other one.

This is a very warm scene, ironic since it is a winter scene, something about kids and snowdays makes me smile 🙂

My favorite part is the snowball fight. I mean, who doesn’t love a good snowball fight?

British schools… seriously I remember it being an expellable offense! Sure they had a reason guess the school could be liable for any injuries. Could still be an offense not sure.

Okay I’m late with this page since work is kinda in my way in these few months, but I wanted to give my feedback on this one.

I liked this page. Both jokes were fun, but as Valkeiper pointed out their hairs I’d also add that that part in particular would’ve been more effective if the girls were actually unrecognizable. Since without any visual clues we would’ve been forced to pay attention and actually recognize the girls by what we know about them. Kinda like a small mystery puzzle. 🙂
Heck Dani’s stance is basically a dead giveaway, Summer’s “sassy” eyebrow is just as obvious and although Hanna’s character can’t provide any clues like that everyone would’ve known who is who even if they had to look at the last picture to check the color of their coats.

BTW yeah a school free day ALWAYS puts everything in the right perspective. XD

You have a point there. To be honest, it simply did not occur to me that it might work without them being easily distinguishable to the reader. I’ve sometimes worried that readers might not be able to tell all of them apart, considering – well – there’s quite a lot of them. 🙂

well, we readers are a bit more attentive to such details than most people (I hope).

Your story telling and drawing has forced us to pay attention to the details and made the comic much more enjoyable because of it.
