HE IS!!! He is one half of that bastard-pair who tortured my… ahem, I mean… poor sweet Hannah!
Go back to “Hannah´s home”. You will recognise his haircut and glasses!
WELL, FRED, MAKE HIM “SLIP IN THE SHOWER” TOO!!!!!
I initially thought the issue was a miscommunication. Fred was interrupted by the bell before he could say “not”. Meaning the answer Hannah heared to her question “are you going to spank me now?” was “What. For this?. Of course.” She then hears Abraham offer to help with a little problem.
Then I recognised Abraham and realised things were much worse
I have to be honest, I do NOT recognize this guy, and the strip “Hannah’s Home” doesn’t ring a bell. Can someone give me a rundown or a link to see it? I am SO curious as to what’s up!
It no way excuses or justifies Abraham’s abusive behaviour but, assuming he was the one who abused Hannah, this development does give some deepth to his character.
One of the causes of abusive behaviour in real life is stress. Abusers are under a lot of emotional pressure and are looking for an outlet. Lashing out is often one, although completely unjustified. Given Abraham’s company is facing bankruptcy, it stands to reason that he’s been stressed. It gives an explanation, though certainly not a justification, for his behaviour.
It also explains why the foster people thought he would make a good foster parent. he may have been a half decent person before the stress of bankruptcy and job loss.
If this guy is who I think it is, then URGE TO KILL… RISING…

Meanwhile, that would be a great end to a movie, right? Fred goes to jail for murder?

So Fred lost custody of the girls due to no “Female presence” at the house and each girl was split up. Hannah’s home was the worse since the guy abused her and lie about it, and Abe is that guy

If that actually *is* the abuser, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s booted quickly and literally from the house.
Nah, Fred will be MUCH, MUCH more justice minded than he was with a certain social worker.
And Fred will acquire help to get it done right.
I love how we get this nice setup to remind us that Fred’s nice and Hannah is still a little burned.
