Uh-oh! Not your brightest moment, Dacey! Asking an eleven-years-old girl to buy a pregnancy test can only go WRONG.
Besides, now Hannah knows the truth, and kids are not really known as good keepers of secrets.
Well, at least the truth will come out now.
(and please, Berg, don´t ask: “What truth?” lol
I know what Murphy’s Law says; but, I would’ve thought that Hannah, of all people, would’ve known how to say things in a less-confusing way. For example, “Oh, he’s not my Daddy; he’s my Uncle.” Also, “And I really am going to the bathroom, so I wasn’t lying! But I need to buy something for my Aunt Dacey first.” See how merely adding names makes things so much clearer? I would think that Hannah is intelligent enough to speak clearly.
Granted, this is your comic, and I’m just being sortof a plot-Nazi. I prefer clarity, and where I see potential for greater clarity, I speak up.
MURPHY’S LAW #1: If someone can make a mistake… they will.
MURPHY’S LAW #2: If something can go wrong… it will.
MURPHY’S LAW #3: If you survive #1 and #2… PANIC !!!

Well – we won’t know the truth until Dacey has actually taken that pregnancy test… 🙂
that reaction was a little extreme at least do a couple pf question , before going to the police , there are many logical reason for that request
But knee-jerk reactions are so much fun!
thats true
Comedy is partly exaggeration and logic skipping though. Skipping those few steps is what makes it funny to go through the last couple panels.

Also, the lady officer kind of looks like Chloe. Maybe she’s related?

O’toole: Murphy was an optimist.
Oh lawd. So true.
Hey Hannah, it would be best not to mention how much Uncle Fred enjoys breaking out the camera and making films about you and your sisters…
This is not the way Dacey wanted to tell Fred!
