Oh dear. This one you CAN blame on Sean.
Iād feel bad, but this is long overdue.
Actually, Mike was being helpful this time. Perhaps not deliberately, but still….
What surprises me, is that Sean hasn’t been particularly….skillful….about hiding his feelings. Surely one of the girls (or Dacy) would have noticed. š
As for the girls, they’re no older than Sean. They still have a lot to learn about nonverbal cues.
As for Dacy, well… She’s busy with a lot of stuff and may not have taken Sean’s crush very seriously.
And Chloe?
Chloe hasn’t really witnessed a lot of the “dead giveaway” moments. Though I suppose it’s possible she, or Dacey, or somebody else took notice but kept it to themselves.
Well, Mikey is good for one thing…PLOT ADVANCEMENT!
Not to mention, providing an emergency punching-bag. š

As much as I think that Mikey deserves getting the poop kicked out of him would it not be counter-productive for Sean to beat up Mikey since he has spent a considerable amount of time trying to prove that Mikey is a little turd?
Mikey will no doubt tell his parents and the parents will see that as proof that Mikey is always picked on.
Oh Sean, sometimes you do have to keep your cool no matter how hard it is.
