Okay, okay. I know everybody saw that one coming from a mile away but I’m also going to go out on a limb and guess I’m not the only one who finds this idea interesting…
Regardless, that’s the end of Twice the Triplets volume 6. Whew, six years of doing this comic! And it’s not over yet… although I will take a little break now, before getting started on the next volume.
In the meantime, there is a new bonus comic up today for those who vote for 2×3 over on Top Web Comics, so check that out! …and if you’re in the mood to do more voting, there’s always the character poll if you haven’t done that yet.
That’s all for now. See y’all soon! ๐
They should be three boys
Girls will be funnier….
10 Girls for Fred…. Lucky or unlucky ???
โThrice The Triplets + Chloe and i don’t talk about Dacey (anther girl) who will be Fred’s helper
Berg a little clue about the babies (girls or boys or mixed LOL)
I’m not telling! ๐
But let’s not get ahead of ourselves – it’ll be a while before we’ll see these babies at all!
Statistical anomaly? Not for the Dunvilles it ainโt!
Multiple birth tend to run in family, it less an anomaly if your brother has terrible that you have having them, even less so if one of your parent was a multiple birth too.
I thought twins/triplets were associated with the female side, not the male.
Every female mother-to-be also had a father to contribute half her genetics.
The notion that traits can only come from one side of the family or the other on the basis of whatever sex the current generation just happens to be doesn’t make much logical sense. Reeks of Confirmation Bias if you ask me.
I can assure you multiple births are NOT just assigned to the female side of a family.
My younger sister married an identical twin.
While her first pregnancy was a single son, her second was Identical twin sons, then she had a single daughter (then another daughter seven years later)
ALL three sons and the first daughter have now had identical twins. The last daughter is now entering high school and geneticists have told her she is likely to conceive twins (both identical and fraternal).
“my side” of the family (with my sister) have no history of Identical or Fraternal twins, yet the “other side” have had twins every generation for the last 300 years (that we know of).
The research and socializing associated with that fact is why I have met so many of the ‘multiple birth’ scene.
…a 100 year old book, titled with a term now synonymous with “I have no medical background or qualifications whatsoever”. O_o
Not the most convincing reference.
But alright; has anyone managed to reproduce the results of the study, within the last century, to verify the findings?
You know, like proper science?
Wow, you guys are taking the likelihood of this pregnancy (or lack thereof) way more seriously than I am! ๐
Glad to see it’s sparked some debate though!
read above.
Hmmm will this comic get renamed, THRICE THE TRIPLETS?
“Thrice The Triplets 1” instead of: “Twice The Triplets 7”, right?
Nope, it’ll still be called Twice the Triplets. But don’t think the title “Thrice the Triplets” hasn’t occured to me…
Oh man, she’s such a little slip of a thing, she’s going to need a shopping cart to carry that belly around.
A horse is a horse, of course, of course, and trip-el-ets happen, of course, of course.
Also, how does Chloe recognize it as hysterical?
Wow, I didn’t think you could see triplets that early in a pregnancy.
That giant head in the last panel is a little creepy.
Well, it’s not specifically stated how far into the pregnancy this is. You’re estimating based on where Berg drew a line.
…Arguably all the heads are disproportionately large, on a sliding scale based on their ages. Pretty much a staple of cartoons also.
…But yes, all the same… kinda freaky. ๐
The pregnancy occured in the summer time, and as we saw in last week’s comic, it is currently (in-universe) fall. So some vaguely defined amount of time has passed. ๐
BTW are you going to update the bonus comics page with last two (not counting the current) incentives?
Eventually, sure.
Why do I get the feeling that this is just leading up to a Loss meme?
Now that would be cruel.
Okay, that makes sense, I guess, I was assuming that this was soon after the pregnancy was confirmed, which was also supported by her lack of obvious pregnancy signs, making me think this was pretty early in the pregnancy.
And of course, this was supposed to be in the thread above, not a separate comment.
I pretty much binge-viewed all of the comics up to this point. It’s so adorably funny. ^^
Oh, awesome! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for reading! ๐
