That is quite harsh. The poor guy is thrown into the deep end without swimming lessons. Add to the mix six mischievous (usually) girls – there’s bound to be some big misunderstandings.
So, I kinda hope that this helps the relationship between Dacey and the kids. That was one of the few aspects of this comic that never sat well with me.
You have to admit, if there is any continuity in this web-comic, Dacey will suddenly have a LOT more understanding for and of the girls.
Poor Fred will need a helmet. Dacey slaps so much thanks to misunderstandings brought about by the girls, I am beginning to wonder why he doesn’t look for a more… pleasant… girlfriend.
That might be the theme about some later comics when ‘someone else’ takes a liking to Fred.
Poor Hannah she is a well meaning girl.
I think I would have slapped Fred to!
After this Fred kicked some puppies, and stole candy from babies!

I know I am teasing
Fred is an ok dude.
I love the strip! Unfortunately, the only help I can send is high praise.
I’ll take it! Thanks. 😀
Oh Ed reminded me, Take your time with this comic take a break from it now and then.
If you are struggling with a comic page but still want to get it out there, skip colouring! Do a black and white page.
Call them “bad hair day comics” you can always colour them later.
I’ll be taking a break at the end of volume 2. Hopefully I can get to that point without too much trouble, at least. 🙂
Good have a vacation, just remember what I said though.
If you ever want to get a comic out, but it is stressing out, just do it black and white.
Not sure how much work it would take off your back, but might make it easier for you.
Oh, sure. The comic is and always has been a hobby. I won’t be killing myself over something I’m supposed to be doing for fun. 😀
You know, if someone’s gonna get slapped, it would be nice to know WHY. LOL

Dacey should certainly be more sympathetic towards the girls now. But who knows what other complications may be arise…
as the return comment of a ‘later’ reading, I can definitely say “You knew what further complications would arise”.
it stayed a very good comic throughout, too.
