Yeah you comic is pulling a little larger fan base.
It is a good sign that people get angry at characters, it is a little odd though. People seem more annoyed by Fred’s childish behavior than when that nasty social worker who assaulted Skye.
Maybe because Fred is a more likable character so you get angrier when he does something bad, or has a fumble. *shrugs*
You’re probably right about Chloe’s age… The question is, would the movie be entertaining for an adult audience? I think Professor Fate might just be on to something in his comment below. 😀
(((nods)))
I understand… now.
After all, I can truthfully say I’m one of those who don’t enjoy mindless bloodletting and gratuis nudity.
For instance, when I play a ‘wargame’, I am usually the guy who supports the front line and ensuring they survive/succeed (like a healer or artillery)
In a certain on line sci-fi game, I run 3 characters who mine asteroids extremely well and support multiple other characters (whom other people run).
Put on your big boy pants, Fred. She’s a teenager. Besides, she’s probably right. Most, if not all, of those ‘artsy’ films like yours are real snooze fests. Pseudo-‘intellectuals’ and movie snobs watch ’em because other ‘intellectuals’ and movie snobs watch ’em and they don’t wanna feel like they’re being left out of the loop.
Somehow I don’t think that Chloe was the intended audience anyway.
Probably not, unless Fred is delusional enough to believe everyone will like his type of movie.
I guess Fred storms out of the room if someone says something bad about on of his films. It his version of a slap to the face. Well done.
Yeah, aside from the slap part, he and Dacey handle adversity pretty much the same way it seems…
my response to bad comments on deviantart XD
Can’t help to think Fred is being a baby here though. So someone doesn’t like your movie, can’t please everyone.
Indeed. That seems to be the reaction of most readers this week. 🙂

Fred is being a mite egotistical and immature here.
Chloe isn’t a full grown adult. She’s an early teenager (just guessing). At such an age, they want action, action, action.
A full grown adult would be looking for more plot and more thought. I am guessing that’s the audience the movie was made for.

Chloe should be happy he didn’t spank her for saying such harsh words about his great masterpiece. 😛
