Probably varies depending on where you live. I googled it, and in the UK it’s illegal to leave children alone “if it places them at risk”.
In the US, apparently only a few states have laws specifying the age at which children can be left alone, while other states have “guidelines”.
In short, it isn’t actually illegal as far as I can tell.
If I remember correctly, this webcomic is based loosely on your own personal history. That kinda makes me cringe, but I also think it’s a wonderful family experience.
If so, does each set of truly have three shades of hair color? If so, that would mean their mother ovulated THREE eggs at once… AT LEAST TWICE!!!
Actually no, the comic isn’t based on my own or anyones real life. I want to be clear about this just so there’s no misunderstanding – this is 100% fiction.
Which is probably a good thing, right? Because I don’t think there’s any character in the comic that I envy.
and here I am forgetting my own experience with some triplets…
A Caucasian boy with ink-black hair, a Filipina girl with fiery red hair, and a dark-skinned girl with golden blonde hair… from a filipina mother and a black-american father (Both with black hair)
They’re teens now and they are having all sorts of ‘fun’ appraising people of their relationship.
by the way, geneticists did DNA scan of the three and discovered the girls were identical twins (one egg and one sperm, which then split into two separate children).
THAT seems so impossible, so what happened in this comic is not truly impossible.
Sorry, couldn’t comment too much in the past weeks, but you’re doing great, keep it up. 🙂
Anyways, WHY does that half sentence from Dacey fill me with dread? O_O
Must be the ominous background music that does it. 😀
(And of course – while comments are appreciated, they are by no means mandatory. Good to see you’re still around though!)
Tying skye to a chair a little extreme, but it makes soo much sense XD.
Seems like a sensible precaution.
They should just distribute the labour! two make it easier.
Summer and Hannah watch skye.
And Dani will watch Kiley and sunshine.
Actually, I think the girls have the better idea.
Immobilize Skye so she can’t make trouble. Untie when ‘uncle’ is about to return.
Seems a little harsh, guess they can park her in front of the TV. My idea doesn’t have the possibility of thrombosis XD
I thought it is illegal to leave minors home alone?

Yeah it is illegal in the UK I believe.
Guess they don’t worry about house burglars with Skye’s burglar alarm
yeah, the police would be rescuing the burglar
Samuel Clemens once said “It takes three adults to track one two-year-old, unfortunately, they only come equipped with two”.
Then he said “It takes six children to track an adult, or is that six adults to track a child?”

I’m not sure if I’m glad of that or not.
such a home would be a real… experience. LOL
It is my headcanon that the twins’ hair is dyed as a method of differentiation.
After their uncle was informed that tattooing their names to their foreheads would probably be a bad idea.
If that’s the case, then I wonder what their natural hair color is.

I’d say that this was harsh if I didn’t know Skye.
