They both accept and deny what is in there is true. They still want to live in their fantasy world that Mikey is their ‘good little boy’. But they can’t deny everyone, including Darcy. I did not expect this twist. Well done. Hope things turn out better for their other son. I feel bad for him.
I’m with Sean on this one; having the gall to deny reality in the face of irrefutable evidence for the sake of your own delusions would raise my blood pressure too.
Also where is Fred? Why wasn’t he here to help lift the thick sweaty veil of ignorance that so desperately needed to be washed?
Fred is preparing dinner! Or he’s in the bathroom. Or working on his movie. Or out running errands. Eh, I don’t know. Mostly he’s just absent from this comic because he wouldn’t really have anything to add to it, given that his interaction with Mikey has been pretty much non-existent.
The “sweet and innocent boy” shouldn’t have that diary in the first place. If she doesn’t recognize he is guilty of something she saw with her own eyes, there really is no hope.
And on that day God came down from the heavens and said, “YES, IT’S TRUE.” And Linda said unto Him, “Eh, what do you know?!”

Maybe once it sinks in a bit, they’ll change their tune. Maybe.
Sean does not seem too hopeful, though. Looks like he has heard something like this before.
Can they please adopt Sean? Please??
It’s true. All of it. Except for the midi-chlorians.
And the cake, according to what I’ve heard.

I had a principal like that once. “We’ll get them the help they need”
I guess that’s realistic.
Well, at least this is half a step forward.
It could lead to better things… with luck. @_@
Lots of it.
This could end up with Sean getting legally emancipated from his parents.
